Kwara state has confirmed a total of seven new cases of the coronavirus have been recorded in the state.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and Spokesman of the state Technical Committee on COVID-19, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye made this known in a statement issued on Sunday in Ilorin.
He stated that the new cases now brings the total number of cases in the state to 883.

According to him, out of the 833 confirmed cases, 462 patients have been discharged, with 352 active cases in the state.
He further noted that a total of 2, 844 people had tested negative for the virus, while 108 tests results were still being awaited.Photo Credit: Instagram
