The Premier League is back! Which club do we think will win the title in 2017-18? Who will finish in the coveted Champions League spots? Which the three clubs will go down? And who will finish as top scorer and who would be the surprise packages? Relying on nothing but common sense and history, we here at KOKO Nigeria have without bias given our honest views and what those answers would come May 2018.
The Most Surprising Packages
1. Dominic Solanke: He arrived Liverpool and primarily seen as one for the youth side. But his performances in pre-season has made everyone just wonder maybe he is ready after all to step up. The Nigerian-British youngster seems to be a huge loss to Chelsea and media is already hailing him as the next Diego Costa.
2. Burnley: Last season, they did the unthinkable and finished comfortably above relegation position. And with a manager like Dyche, it is a big possibility for them to end up in the top 10 and that would be a big surprise given their limited resources.
3. David Wagner: The Huddersfield manager might not be able to save his team from relegation but it is believed that he would prove his worth in the league this season and other teams would soon start calling. He is intimidating but a true genius, gruff but warm at the same time – just like a younger Jurgen Klopp. Oh…they were colleagues before? That makes sense now.
