American dancer and singer, Teyana Taylor, has blown up in the past couple of years. But there’s more to her than just her banging body.
Teyana Taylor was born on December 10, 1990, while she was raised in Harlem, New York City; she is of Afro-Trinidadian descent. Taylor is her mother’s only child while her father has two sons and another daughter from a different relationship.

She signed onto Pharrell’s label and then switched to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label in 2012. However, her widespread fame came in September of 2016 when Kanye released his music video for his song “Fade.” Taylor is the star of the video, dancing around a gym flash dance style. She is ripped, tone and tight. She looks phenomenal. And this was less than a year after giving birth to her and Iman Shumpert’s first child Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr.
“People used to call me a ninja turtle because even when I was six-years-old, I had a little Buddha belly but there was still a six pack on top of it,” she said whilst commenting on her body. She continue that: “My daughter really is my trainer and she does not play around, she’s a real active little girl, so running all around, I swear keeps me in shape.”
The “K.T.S.E’” singer has also credited her husband – and their sex life – for her sculpted physique. “And of course my husband is my trainer, when we cut it up in the bedroom, living room, every room,” she jokes.
Obviously, not everybody is born with a body like Taylor who can eat whatever and not gain weight. But the artist is proof that if you find an exercise or activity you love, it can work wonders.
