Jane Mena is the controversial Social media twerker all Nigerians are talking about.
Usiwo Orezinena Jane known professionally as Jane Mena was born on the 3rd of April, 1993.
She hails from Delta State. She is a social media personality, regarded as Nigeria’s foremost twerker.
After winning Kcee‘s dance competition in 2017, Jane Mena took to social media to share some of her twerk video clips amassing thousands of views and likes.
She is also an ambassador for the brands Lishashair and Patricia and runs a female accessories business called Janemenaglitz.
Jane Mena was born and raised in Delta State. She grew up alongside her siblings and was not known for her dance skills at the time.
However, the popular Nigerian twerker was a socialite and made many acquaintances during her childhood days.
After completing her basic and secondary education in the Niger Delta region, Jane Mena got admitted into Delta State University, Abraka, studying Mass Communication for the stipulated period.
Jane Mena acquired her first taste of fame after winning a dance competition organized by Nigerian music artist, Kcee in 2017, to complement his song Dance, featuring Phyno. She was awarded the sum of 2 million naira for her dance performance.
Months later, she started to share clips of her twerk skills on her Instagram page, which has more than 2 million followers at the moment.
She is regarded by many as Nigeria’s top-most ‘twerker’ and has been compared with South Africa’s Faith Nketsi in recent times.
Jane Mena got engaged to her long-time lover, Andre Plies, on Valentine’s day in 2019. He popped the question during their vacation in the Maldives.
They got married that same year, with the traditional wedding being held at Jane Mena‘s hometown in Delta State.
Asides from her love life, JaneMena is also highly followed on social media. Her twerk videos have racked up much attention and small talk in the digital sphere.
