After a long journey battling with weight-loss and weight-gain and then one more round of weight-loss, Hayet realized that life wasn’t just about dieting. According to her, she woke up one day and realized that just a few years ago she “was praying to have the job I have now, the life I have now and most importantly I was praying to have the body I have now. So I am taking a pause. A pause to celebrate the woman that I am now, and live every inch of it.”
She is of both Ghanaian and Lebanese heritage having studied at the Ghana International School where she graduated and later settled in the United States Of America. Most people know her from the hash tag #hayetisonadiet and her emotional article “Growing up Fat In Ghana”. She is living the life now by travelling, eating good food and trying new ones, dress to inspire others whiles writing a world acclaimed blog at the same time an advertising professional in an advertising agency in the U.S.
