The postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections due to ‘poor logistics and operational issues’ has left every Nigerian and even people from all over the world disappointed in Nigeria’s Independent National Election Commission. Thousands of Nigerians were ready to decide at the polls, inly for the commission to cancel elections, at 2 am on the election day.
While accusing fingers have been pointed at the ruling party APC and the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari with the thought that they planned the postponement so as to rig the elections, the incompetence of the commission is such a disaster for the country, and its independence questionable. This leaves people pondering on what will happen at the polls and what will be the outcome of the elections eventually.
