There are trends that we say ‘I could never wear that’ because it’s too bold or daring, but there are also trends that we see and instantly know that they aren’t for our body type. No matter what people say about being able to pull anything off if you have confidence, if you see something and don’t think it will work for you, it probably won’t.
– If you’re curvy with a tiny waist, your goal is to highlight your curves—not hide them. Say yes to trends that emphasise your waist.
– If you have a slim lower body and carry weight around your middle, your goal is to minimize your midsection. Say yes to trends that highlight your shoulders and legs.
– If you’re not very curvy and your hips are around the same size as your waist, say yes to trends that highlight the thinnest part of your waist so your hips and bust appear larger and more proportional.
– If the widest part of your body is around your hips, say yes to trends that elongate and balance your figure by accentuating your top half.Photo Credit: Getty
