THREAD #ClarencePeters investigation #IJKodakDeath
On the 30th of April, Tiwa Savage broke the news to me that one of her dancers died the previous night. Kodak is Love Devine a music video dancer or what they call “video vixen”. She was electrocuted & died partly due to negligence of the first responders a hospital. LAGOS police Spokesman @ElkanaBala said Peters was not charged with murder nor arrested but was invited. DCP Yetunde Longe allegedly compromised the investigation with a “murder coverup” after destroying two police reports. This in itself is a form of Defamation.”

“What happened to Love Devine was an accident. A tragic word that denotes something not intentional. I am asking DCP Yetunde Longe to be REMOVED from the investigation IMMEDIATELY. Peters is the son of two public figures and there is a conflict of interest. Devine’s death was indirectly caused by FATE & PHCN. Having spoken to several music industry professionals, being a music Journalist and Publicist in North America, I know the level of power generating on video sets. Here in Nigeria high power generators are used. I always DISCOURAGE #PlugandPlay in Nigeria simply because of power surges. Kodak: Kemi Olunloyo Gives Report Of Her Investigations, Appeals To The PoliceA high power generator was running on that set and the voltage that went inside her body was extreme. Her heart and brain function had little chance. Hospitals refusing patients doesn’t help. I understand she was also sitting on a metal railing so the electric conduction was enhanced, highly tragic to say the least. People should desist from conspiracy theories, rhetoric and propaganda. Her autopsy will show the electrical burns. We must learn from this. Murder and even manslaughter charges does not apply here. Nobody killed her intentionally but at the same time all recording studios should begin posting safety information and buying occupational hazard insurance for employees. We ignore these little things abroad. I never met her or Clarence Peters but all my interviews with Celebrities off the record showed he is a private man who just went to work to earn a living. One of the victim’s friends said she worked extra needing money to support her family during the #lockdown.Kodak: Kemi Olunloyo Gives Report Of Her Investigations, Appeals To The Police
Finally I implore the
@PoliceNG_lagos to make the investigation as TRANSPARENT as possible. To Love Devine’s family my heart is with you. It is a tragic lesson for us all. Hospitals in Nigeria, be first responders. Check someone before labeling them #COVID19. HELP To DCP Yetunde Alonge, in Journalism when u tell ur Spokesman @ElkanaBala u are investigating someone for MURDER, it signals the media who informs the public that “someone” took the victim’s LIFE. People only know what they hear from us. U tore up the murder papers”, she tweeted.
