Kim Kardashian Heads To White House As She Speaks On Criminal Justice Reform

Reality TV star who is currently studying to become a lawyer, Kim Kardashian has spoken on criminal justice reform at the white house. The mother of four who is an avid advocate of the reform was invited to the event to help promote efforts that would support leaving convicts leaving the prison and getting to work. While on her way to the event, Kim shared a video of herself saying that: “I am heading to the White House to speak at the second chance hiring and re-entry event.” In another tweet, the celebrity added that she is “honoured to be a part of the announcement that the administration and the private sector are stepping up to create opportunities for these men and women to succeed once home.” Upon arriving at the event, Kim was received by the US president, Trump where she later took the stage to reveal that ex-prisoners would be getting a ride-share partnership where they would be given gift cards so that they can travel to and from interviews. She said: “Everyone wants the community to be safe, and the more opportunity we have and that they have and the support that we help give them, the safer everyone will be.”Watch the full video below…Photo Credit: Getty
