Finally Kim Kardashian West has responded to the allegation that she blackened her face to promote her new beauty line. The 36-year-old serial entrepreneur recently suffered a backlash on social media after sharing a series of ads for her new KKW Beauty line rocking a particularly dark skin tone.
The images were immediately taken off her social media page after fans called her out. Now in an interview with The New York Times published on 19th June 2017, she stated “I would obviously never want to offend anyone.”  She added that the main cause was the tan working in tandem with the camera’s contrast. Changes have been made to the remaining photos with necessary lessons learnt.
