Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has come out to address claims that her body is photoshopped. The TV star went live on Instagram to prove to fans that her body is natural after an unflattering photo of her was released on social media.
The Kardashian’s PR team had to work behind the scenes to get it removed from all platforms where it was posted. Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, told Page Six the reason why they don’t want the picture being in the public. Romulus said: “The color edited photo was taken of Khloe during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant.
“Khloe looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down. To prove that her body is not Photoshopped Khloe did a live video on Instagram, showing her body. She also released a statement where she explained that the “unflattering” photo was taken in bad lighting and doesn’t capture her body the way it is.
She explained that all her life she has struggled with body image and has worked really hard to get to where she is today. Khloe Kardashian shared that over the years she has been under constant pressure to be perfect and meet other people’s standards. She noted that over a decade all her life has been used to point out flaws and when she works towards overcoming them they claim she paid for it all.
