Hollywood star Keke Palmer was among the several thousands of people who took the streets yesterday to protest police brutality and racial injustice happening in America. The actress was seen leading the march and requesting for justice from the government.

In a video shared online, Keke is seen speaking to members of the National Guard about racism and police brutality and why everyone needs to work together to end it. She told the troops how President Trump’s actions are further fueling the divide between protesters and authorities. She also condemned the when the looting starts the shooting starts threat Trump made during a recent press briefing. The Akeelah and the Bee actress further encouraged the members of the National Guard to March with them and speak up against police brutality.  “Stand together with the community, with society to stop, stop the governmental oppression. “We need you. March with us, march beside us.” The troops mentioned that they couldn’t leave their duty post but when it was suggested that they take a knee in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement, the uniformed men went on their knees.
