Katy Perry Tops Forbes List As The 2018 Highest Paid Woman In Music

Popular American singer Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, known professionally as Katy Perry has been named the 2018 highest paid woman in music by Forbes. Estimated to have earned $83m (ÂŁ64.7m) in the period spanning June 2017 to June 2018, the 34 years old songwriter grossed over $1m per night on the world tour for her fifth album, Witness. She also earned more than $20m for her work as a judge on American Idol, during that period. Following Perry is Taylor Swift who came in second place with $80 million over the same period with her reputation album and tour. Beyonce falls to third place with $60m followed respectively by Pink ($52 million), Lady Gaga ($50 million), Jennifer Lopez ($47 million), Rihanna ($37.5 million), Helene Fischer ($32 million), Celine Dion ($31 million), and Britney Spears ($30 million).
