What Is The Fate Of The Common Man? Kate Henshaw Queries COVID-19 Treatment Fee In Private Hospitals

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw  has queried what the fate of the common man is in Nigeria as a private hospital reportedly charged 10 million naira to treat a COVID-19 patient.
Kate Henshaw  took to Twitter to narrate how her friend had told her of a mutual friend’s mom who tested positive for the dreaded virus, and was taken to a private hospital in Lagos.
“Omo!! A friend just told me that someone she knew, the mum caught COVID & the private hospital (i won’t name) quoted N10million!!! She jejely took her mum to Yaba Isolation centre. She was well taken care off & is better. What hope for the comman man na? Covid dey o” she wrote.

A tweep, however, told Kate that the hope of a common man is the government hospital the patient was later taken to. “The hope for the common man is the government hospital that woman got treatment free of charge”, he wrote. “How many can be accommodated????”, Kate Henshaw answered.Photos Credit: Instagram
