Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has called out to every woman out there going through violence of whatever sort, to not just speak up, but leave so they can live.
Reacting to the death of gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu who died as a result of domestic violence at the hands of her husband, Kate Henshaw stated that violence is never the answer to anything in life and people should never be scared of what people will say when faced with life-threatening situations. She said this on the gram as she captioned a video where she encouraged everyone out there.

She wrote, the fear of what people will say should NEVER be considered when we are faced with life threatening situations, even if they are family, pastors, doctors, whoever!!! VIOLENCE against anyone, woman, man, child should NEVER EVER be tolerated!! It is good to be enraged and outraged at this situation but let it not be just for a moment but for ALL TIMES!

Seek help and if things don’t work out, LEAVE so you can LIVE!! Support the work the NGOs are doing in whatever way you can. They have data and you will be shocked by the numbers. Lagos State I can say has a very active law against Domestic Violence.
So also Ekiti State. Those are the few I know of. NEVER SHAME the victims instead offer support and kind words. Let them know you are there for them. Let the SHAME go to the ABUSER! It’s never easy to just get up and leave. I know what I am saying.
