Kano State House of Assembly member Magaji Dahiru Zarewa of the APC was today sacked by the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kano today Friday, July 24, 2020. 
Zarewa was sacked for failing to resign from his position as the Managing Director of the Kano Drugs and Consumables Supply Agency, 30 days before the election.
A certificate of return as being ordered to be given to the runner-up Jibril Ismail Falgore of the PDP by the tribunal to the Independent National Commission (INEC).
With this latest development, the PDP now has 13 members in the Kano State House while the APC still has the majority with 27 members.
