Kano Gov Vows To Prioritise Industrialisation, Security

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has restated the commitment of his administration to prioritise industrialisation, energy, security, and climate change initiatives.

The governor stated this on Monday while receiving participants of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, who paid him a courtesy visit.

The participants are in Kano as part of their study tour.

Represented by his Deputy, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, Governor Yusuf congratulated the participants of the Senior Executive Course 45 for their involvement in the programme.

This is contained in a statement by Ibrahim Garba Shu’aibu, the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, a copy of which was made available reporters.

Gwarzo said in the statement that the governor eagerly awaits the report of the participants and “assured that the state government will diligently implement their findings and recommendations to bolster the state’s industrialisation, energy, security, and climate change status.”

The Director General of NIPSS, Prof  Ayo Omotayo, leading the delegation, expressed gratitude to Governor Yusuf for the warm reception accorded them.
