Hajiya Rabi Aminu, the wife of the famous Kano statr business tycoon and elder statesman, Aminu Dantata, has passed away.
Dantata’s wife died in a hospital located in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The family has asked for prayers for the departed soul and for Allah to forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest position in paradise.
Sanusi Dantata, her grandson, confirmed the news of her demise on his verified Twitter account on Saturday.
“Please pray for our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Haj. Rabi, wife of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who died yesterday after a protracted illness!

“May Allah forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest rank in Paradise, Ameen! “Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihirrajiuun!,” he tweeted.

Mama Rabi, as she was commonly referred to, fought a prolonged illness and eventually died in her late 70s. She was Aminu Dantata’s second wife and is survived by her spouse, six children, and several grandchildren.
One of her children, Tajjuddeen, is a prominent personality in Nigeria’s business circle.
