#JusticeforSylvester: Dowen College Releases Another Statement, Maintains Sylvester Sustained Leg Injury

Dowen College has released another press statement on the death of Sylvester Omoroni a 12-year-old student who was bullied and beaten in the school. The school in a new statement maintained that the boy sustained a leg injury in the school and passed on a week later.

 Dowen College Releases Another Statement, Maintains Sylvester Sustained Leg InjuryIn a photo shared on the school’s official Instagram page, staff was seen wearing all black with a black T-shirt that had the photo of the boy posted on it and also a banner in loving memory of the student. In their statement, the school shared that the boy went home on the 23rd of November and on the 29th of November his parents called to infom the school that he was bullied by 5 senior students whose names he mentioned.

They noted that they began investigation was launched on the 30th and unfortunately passed away before they made any headway with the case and a frenzy began on social media. They assured that justice will be served and the accused students presented to authority.
