The fraud trial of former Inspector-General of Police, Sunday Ehindero, was unavoidably postponed on Tuesday due to the absence of Justice Silvanus Oriji, the judge who was supposed to preside over the case at the Abuja Federal High court.

The Independent Corruption Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) arraigned the former police chief and a former police commissioner, John Obaniyi before the court on a five-count bordering on fraud and criminal conspiracy.
The two police chiefs were being tried for an alleged N16.4 million fraud. Due to the judge’s absence, the case was adjourned to June 26, for the continuation of hearing.
