Joseph Yobo Is Super Eagles New Assistant Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the appointment of Nigeria International and ex-super eagles captain, Joseph Yobo as assistant coach of the super eagles.
Joseph YoboYobo will assist head coach, Gernot Rohr in ensuring that the team performs excellently in the international scene.
In a statement by the NFF, it said “The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed former Super Eagles’ defender and captain Joseph Yobo as assistant coach of the team. He replaces Imama Amapakabo in the three –time African champions’ technical crew.”

The ex-Turkish player is expected to be on ground when Nigeria plays Sierra Leone on 23rd of March in the pursuit for place in Cameron 2021.
Yobo participated in three Fifa World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations.
