Jose Mourinho Telling People That Ole Gunnar Solskjaer May Be Out Of His Depth Managing Manchester United

Jose Mourinho has reportedly been telling people that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be out of his depth as Manchester United boss.

The Spurs manager goes up against the man that replaced him at Old Trafford next Friday when the Red Devils travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The first time they met in December, Solskjaer got the better of his opposite number by beating the Lilywhites 2-1 at home – and to add insult to injury, proceeded to pat the Portuguese boss on the head after the game.

But, according to media reports, Mourinho has been questioning Solskjaer’s ability to take on a job as big as managing Manchester United.
After a tricky start, the Norwegian has started to implement his philosophy on the team as he looks to take the club back to its roots of attacking football and developing young talent.

Solskjaer has handed first-team debuts to exciting academy products including Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood, who have both made the most of their opportunities.
With the acquisition of Bruno Fernandes in January, United have seen a complete turnaround in their fortunes.

Prior to the league’s suspension over the coronavirus crisis, the Red Devils were on an 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
United will recommence the season just three points behind fourth-placed side Chelsea in the Premier League table. If they plan on recruiting their top summer targets, Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, Champions League football may be vital.Photo Credit: Getty
