John Mikel Obi Offered $2m In An 18-months Deal

Recall we reported that Botafogo was at an advance level of negotiation with former Chelsea midfielder as on Friday, the deal is at its final stages with all that is left is for the midfielder to pen to paper and confirm his he would play his next football down in South America for the next year and a half.

Mikel who left Trabzonspor by mutual consent after he had an outburst on social media to express his concerns about the Turkish Super Lig wanting to continue amid the global Coronavirus pandemic. John Mikel Obi’s deal was confirmed by ESPN journalist, Jorge Nicola, Brazilian side Botafogo who are trying to recover their lost glory days also just confirmed the signing of Japanese international Keisuke Honda.
