John Dumelo Wins Election, Becomes National Democratic Congress’ Flag Bearer

Ghanaian actor cum politician, John Dumelo has won the ticket to contest for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in Ghana’s 2020 parlimentary election on the platform of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

This came after Dumelo’s landslide party primaries victory on Saturday August, 24. He won ober his opponent with a huge margin after he polled 768 votes while Afua Adoboe polled a paltry 99 votes. The star is currently seeking to be elected as one of the parliamentarians representing the West Wuogon constituency in the parliament.Photo Credit: Getty
