Former Presidential candidate and a former close associate of President Muhammadu Buhari, the internationally renowned political economist Prof Pat Utomi, has explained during a recent interview that he is very sure that the incoming American President-elect former VP Joe Biden won’t support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.Prof. Pat Utomi

Prof Pat Utomi revealed this during his interview with Punch News on Monday, January 18, where he said the reason why Barack Obama supported President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime change from GEJ was due to the vast corruption, impunity and extreme level of insecurity. The Prof then noted but the truth is that nothing has changed yet rather Nigerian is more corrupt today than it was 6-years ago.

The International Political economist, Prof Pat Utomi said;

“Obama was an extreme activist in seeking regime change in Nigeria because of the vast corruption and many of us supported the move but we later found out that the corruption did not change; Nigeria is more corrupt today than it was in the past.

“So, Biden will go back to a more liberal engagement with Nigeria but he is not going to be supportive of the incumbent (Buhari) the way Obama was because they can see that the incumbent fails to bring Nigeria together or move it forward, because they have now realised that Nigeria has become a more dangerous place to live”
