Jack Wilshere could leave Arsenal at the end of season with Wolves ready to make a move.
The Gunners coach, Arsene Wenger admits the club hopes to keep the England midfielder, and he’s expected to make a decision before the World Cup in June.
“Until now he (Wilshere) has not signed but we want him to stay. He has an offer for a long-term contract and I hope at some stage he will sign it,” said Wenger who is focused to transform the season into a success.”He has the freedom to make that decision. I want him to stay. He is focused on the next game and will certainly make his decision later.
“I think he will make it before the end of the season. He won’t want to go to the World Cup and not have settled his situation. That would not be reasonable,” Wenger adds.
Wolves are planning a shock summer swoop for Jack Wilshere, as speculation over his future continues to grow. The Molineux club will return to the Premier League next season after their automatic promotion from the Championship.
