The Lagos state government had announced that the index case of coronavirus in the country has now tested negative to the virus. According to the commissioner for health, Prof. Akin Abayomi the Italian man who arrived the country on the 27th of February, 2020 on a visit to Lafarge Africa Plc, Ewekoro, Ogun State.
In a press briefing today the commissioner said the man has tested negative to the virus but will be tested once again and if the test returns negative will be released.
