Is Aisha Buhari Pregnant? – Nigerians React To New Photos Of The First Lady

Aisha Buhari, Nigeria’s First Lady and wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has sparked pregnancy rumours after recent pictures of her in public.

Aisha Buhari was spotting what appears like a growing baby bump.

The development has drawn reactions from Nigerians on social media; with recent pictures of the First Lady igniting excited and sharp debates on the micro-blogging site, Twitter. Much of the reactions from Nigerians have centred on whether Aisha Buhari is indeed carrying a foetus in what seems to be a protruding tummy.

The debate began recently when pictures of Aisha Buhari from her recent public engagements began circulating on Twitter. A few eagle-eyed Twitter users had pointed out the bulging midriff; a development that had seen the pictures go viral, sparking reactions from other users.

One of the pictures shows her descending the stairs of a Presidential jet in company of her husband. Notably, the First Lady, who was wearing a yellow kaftan, could be seen carefully watching her steps as she descended; with what seemed like a baby bump visible from her outfit.

Another image shows the First Lady, again with her husband; in what appeared to be from the President’s recent official visit to Turkey. The picture seemed like a follow-up to the first; as both personalities were wearing the same outfit in which they could be seen descending the aircraft.

However, this time round, Aisha had a black shawl draped over herself; with her tummy appearing even more extended than in the first picture. The President and wife were surrounded by a few foreign security officials believed to be Turkish; one of them could be seen holding the First Lady’s bag.

Twerps who reacted to the pictures are adamant that Aisha Buhari is pregnant.

Meanwhile, the development, if proven to be true, would see Aisha Buhari and her husband follow in the footsteps of former Nigerian Heads of State, Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and Sani Abacha.

Specifically, all three men welcomed babies with their wives during their time in office as Nigerian rulers.
