With the resoluteness of the members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB and how they are holding it down despite the arrest and detention of their boss, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, his lead counsel has said Nnamdi Kanu is amazed and of course, the IPOB is winning.
Ejiofor said this and more after the legal team visited the separatist leader in Department of State of Service DSS custody on Thursday, the same day the President visited Imo State and the IPOB upheld a sit-at-home in the State.
Ejiofor further revealed that officials of the DSS no longer treat Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyers in a despicable manner. Recall that he had earlier faulted the reasons given by officials of the Department of State Services for stopping lawyers from visiting the IPOB leader.

“I visited Our indefatigable Client-Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the company of his younger brother- Prince Emmanuel Kanu (Fine Boy), in apparent compliance with the guidelines for our routine visits. Our Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has always been in a good spirit and his convictions have remained unwavering. We had far-reaching discussions that pertained to our professional services, and family concerns which were all addressed”, he said.
“He is amazed and impressed by the resoluteness of his millions of supporters and lovers of freedom. He is indeed, lacking in words to convey the depth of his gratitude and appreciation to you all. I am glad to inform millions of our supporters, wellwishers and Umuchineke, that following the outrage that greeted the despicable manner in which we were treated in the past weeks during these routine visits, the officials of the State Security Service have made a volte-face.”
