Interesting! French Government Introduce New Policy To Make School Obligatory From Age Three

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron has announced his plan to make school obligatory for all children from age three, overruling the existing policy that obligates children to start schooling from age six.
Macron stated that the new policy was created to fight inequality in the rural areas of France in particular, where some parents still stand against sending their children to school.
He said: “I hope that with this obligation, from the start of the school year in 2019, we can… correct this unacceptable differential.”
The new policy will have little or no effect in the developed areas of the country as over 97% of children in such areas are already enrolled in school at age three.
