In celebration of beautiful, smart and black women breaking barriers and achieving superhuman feats around the world, BET hosted a night of glitz and glamour for its popular annual celebration Black Girls Rock! The New Jersey Performing Arts Center was packed full with stars from Taraji P henson to Anthony To Henderson to Jussie Smollet and of course, South Africa’s favorite girl Nomzamo Mbatha.
The Nubian queen was the red carpet host on the night but she could have easily been crowned the red carpet queen too. She was bent on stylishly reminding all present of her roots, rocking an absolutely stunning African print design by favorites Rich Factory. MUA Lola and StarrKyss were on hand to work their beauty and hair magic respectively on her, accessorizing her looks with some Douriean Fletcher’s jewelries.
