The Insider: Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong’o And Other Hollywood Stars Make A Statement In Their All-Black Time’s Up Dress Code On The Red Carpet Of The 2018 BAFTA Awards

A good number of Hollywood stars graced the red carpet in bright black outfits as they stepped out in style for the 2018 BAFTA award ceremony in London.
The main reason for their joint choice of colour was to show their support for the Time’s Up movement. The Time’s Up movement was founded on the first of January 2018 by Hollywood celebrities in response to the huge wave of sexual harassment stories that kept cropping up towards the end of 2017.
The royal family of England also declared their support for the movement, as the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Elizabeth Mountbatten, wore a black sash and a black ribbon belt over her dark green dress to the ceremony.
Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong’o, Gemma Arterton, Letitia Wright, Edgar Wright and Lily James are some of the A-list celebrities that graced the Red carpet in black.
