The Diamond ball is held every year to celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation’s accomplishment and also to create global awareness.

The Clara Lionel Foundation is a non-profit organisation set up by Rihanna in honour of her grandparents Clara and Lionel Braithwaite. The organisation is aimed at to fighting for basic rights to education and health. The inaugural event was held in 2014, at The Vineyard in California. The second edition was held in Santa Monica Airport’s Barker Hangar. This year the Diamond Ball event was held at Cipriani Wall Street, New York and had in attendance a lot of celebrities who came out to show support to the foundation and its noble cause. Some of the celerities in include; ASAP Rocky, Paris Hilton, Childish Gambino, LaLa Anthony, Justin Skye, Cardi B, and a host of many others. See more photos of the red carpet at the event below;
