Fast-rising American musician, Kirin J Callinan, decided flash his jewels at the 2017 ARIA Awards on Tuesday.
The young singer appeared to be going traditional as he rocked a red kilt, black waistcoat and cowboy boots without underwear. His hidden motives became evident when he lifted his kilt to expose a bare genitals. He appeared proud of his actions as he made a smirky pout at the camera.
Kirin, who has a long-standing record for his daring outfit choices, has admitted that he likes to cross-dress. In an interview with Sydney Morning Herald, he said “Even as a teenager, it was something I liked to play with, cross-dressing particularly and wearing make-up. I guess, maybe, always I felt different. I wanted to own this part of my identity for myself.
In fact, I found I got by, by being a clown…being funny and different and making a point of it was definitely part of my identity growing up.”
