According to a statement from Mohammed Haruna, INEC national commissioner and member, Information and voter education committee, 2,209 of the agency’s staff members ahead of 2019 elections. The promotion that covers 847 junior and 1,362 senior staff members is believed to be alignment with INEC’s preparedness to conduct the 2019 elections.
