Cristiano Ronaldo Set To Become First Player To Win Ballon d’Or at 3 Different Clubs this December. The Juventus Star will make another history will when France football announce the winner of the 2018 Ballon d’Or prize, If Cristiano Ronaldo win the award, he will become the first player to win at three different clubs, And if another player emerge winner at the end of the show, it will be the 26th stars to receive the award since it was created in 1956. Apart from Ronaldo and Messi, no other player has five Ballon d’Or awards but Michel Platini, Johan Cruyff, and Marco van Basten have three each to their credit. 
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the players with the highest number of Ballon d’Or awards after winning five titles each. Both stars have been at the top of their games since they gained prominence in world football in 2009 when the Portugal international won clinched the award for the first time while at Manchester United. However, the current world best player is among the few players who have won the award with more than one club in history, but no player has ever won the prize with three different clubs. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is exceptional during his playing days with both clubs after winning a lot of accolades and re-writing histories.
