Incest: Lagos Father Admits Romping His Daughter Over This Shocking Reason

A 54-year old man, Anthony Udoh, has confessed that he has been sleeping with his 11-year old daughter (name withheld) since he lost his wife and she was buried in her home state, Akwa Ibom.

FUTMinnaMedia reports indicates that Udoh, who resides at Olajide Street in Alagbado area of Lagos, revealed that his wife died sometime in 2018 and after her burial, he depended on his daughter for sexual satisfaction.

It was gathered that while the act was going on, he warned the daughter never to tell anyone what went on till 2019 when she could not bear the trauma any longer and then exposed the dastardly act. The victim was said to have confided in their neighbour about her frustration and what she had passed through since she lost her mother. The visibly angry neighbour took her to the Police, where she reported the matter.

The Police at Alagbado Division then moved in, arrested Udoh and detained him at their station for investigation after the daughter revealed the whole trauma she was passing through at home. During interrogation, the suspect, Mr. Udoh, admitted that he had slept with her repeatedly since he lost his wife but was tempted to do so.

The Police found him culpable and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for incest. The Court did not consider granting him bail after the prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice because the alleged offence attracts several years of imprisonment.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered the defendant, Udoh, to be remanded in prison custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s report and also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice. Udoh may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds him culpable and recommends his trial for incest, which also attracts life imprisonment if found guilty before the Court.

The Police have rescued the victim and kept in a home, where she is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation over the dastardly act.Photo Credit: Getty
