Nigerian rapper M.I Abaga has called for a solidarity among the many other tribes in the most populous African country, for the Igbo tribe as they lamented ‘threats’ on their lives, freedom and propertied by the Federal Government.
Recall that the social media space had been thrown into turmoil and youths from different tribes slamming the President and the presidency for threatening to treat arsonists and people stirring insurrection in the nation to the language they understand.#ImIgboToo: M.I Abaga Calls For Solidarity For Igbos
Taking to Twitter to share a video, M.I Abaga said he couldn’t imagine what the Igbos were going through on the night this tweet went out and thought it will be nice if Nigerians of other tribe write or say something nice to them in solidarity. “The narrative that “Nigeria hates Igbo people” is an outdated context that will leave with the old and bitter generation Today let us stand with our Igbo family and say #IAmIgboToo #Ozoemena”, M.I captioned the video, using the trending I Am Igbo Too and Ozoemena hashtags.
