Rihanna’s stunning New York penthouse is currently on sale for a whopping £13million ($17million).
The Rude Boy singer owns numerous properties in LA and Barbados but has been renting this New York apartment for the past four years.
The amazing apartment is a massive 4,660-square-feet and based in New York’s Chinatown. Rihanna, 29, has been renting the penthouse from French fashion photographer Antoine Verglas for $50,000 per month since she moved to New York from LA in 2013.
The beautiful space boasts four bedrooms, three full size bathrooms, an ensuite and a wraparound terrace with stunning views of the New York skyline. A secure, key-lock elevator opens into an immense, concrete floored L-shaped living, dining and entertaining space on the penthouse’s upper floor.
On the upper floor, there is also an expensively outfitted chef’s kitchen and a dry bar. On the lower level, there’s one en suite bedroom for guests or staff, two more roomy bedrooms and a corner master suite. This is made up of a large bedroom with open city views to the north and west, an ample walk-in closet and a bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower.
The garden tub is set below a massive window with open views of the iconic skyline up to the Empire State Building. The apartment is based on the 11th and 12th floors of the building and has 13-foot ceilings. Meanwhile, The New York post has reported that if Rihanna wants to stay the photographer might take it off the market.
Rihanna recently bought a Hollywood Hills mansion for $6.5million which boasts six bedrooms, a cinema and a swimming pool. She also owns a mansion in her native Barbados worth $22million.
