Nigerian singer and songwriter Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has been selected as the Apple Music Up Next Artist.
Apple Music host Nadeska stated fondly that the singer once said that being yourself takes more courage than would imagine. The 26 years old singer expressed her joy as the next artist to be featured on Apple Music.

The Try Me singer further stated that in order to be different she has had to ignore people’s opinion and pressure to compromise her music. Taking this stance, Tems is known for her captivating vocal tone and her touch of African uniqueness on each and everyone of her songs.
