Police IGP, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the transfer of the petitions from COZA’s Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and the Dakolos to Lagos, to be investigated at the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos.
This follows the outcry of Timi Dakolo on social media, faulting the Police for the manner with which he and his wife were invited, and claiming the Police is biased in its dealings on the case. Recall that Timi Dakolo claims his wife had written a petition to the police in June which got no response or action, however, the police decided to invite him and his wife when Fatoyinbo filed his.

Mr Femi Falana, counsel to the Dakolos confirmed the report of the case transfer, which was according to him because the singer’s family were the first to petition the police. He further assured that justice will be served, according to reports.
