‘I suffered mockery, insults’ – ABN, CEO Ifeanyi Okali Speaks on 11 years of childlessness

The founder of All Breaking News, ABN, Mr Ifeanyi Okali has revealed that his trust in God did not fade during his long wait for his own child.

Okali, who is the Chairman of ABN TV, ABN Radio and Newspaper, stated this in an interview with newsmen after his wife gave birth to a baby girl.

He disclosed that his love for his wife increased on a daily basis during their trying years, despite insults and mockery from some persons.

Okali added that the bond between him and his wife remained strong during their wait for a child, adding that his wife furnished him with care and love which even baffled his traducers.

According to the Ohafia-born media man, he got married to his wife in 2012 but the children did not come until May 2023 when the family’s gift of joy arrived.

He advised those who may have found themselves in similar situations to renew their trust in God and to increase their love for their spouse.

“It is God alone that did it for my family. I never lost hope and trust in God even in the most challenging periods.

“In over one decade, my wife and I suffered mockery and insults but we were not discouraged; rather we renewed our love every minute.”

“But all the questions have been answered by God and we are now proud parents”, said Okali, while shedding tears of joy.

He noted that several Abians, including Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Chikwe Udensi, Uche Sampson Ogah, and media practitioners have congratulated him on the joyful news.
