If You Have BVN, You Are Not Poor – Digital Expert

Nigerian Digital expert and founder XYZ Internet Ediong has incurred the wrath of tweeps as he noted that people who have BVN are not to be classified among the poor of the poorest in the society.
This is coming amidst protests that the Federal government should send cash pallatives to the citizens as the Coronavirus lockdown was extended.
Taking to the streets of twitter, Ediong wrote, “Anyone who has BVN cannot be termed to be among the poorest of the poor.” Explaining further i na series of reply tweets, the publisher noted that the poorest of Poor and poor are not same thing. He noted that the poorest people don’t even know anything about financial institutions.

Nigeria is bigger than your immediate ecosystem.“, he explained in the series of reply tweets.
