Gay activist Bisi Alimi has called on Nigerians to start demanding good governance from the leaders they elected rather than spending time praying to God. The LGBTQ advocate took to his Insta story to share that if truly God exists Nigeria shouldn’t be in the state that it is because the citizens in this country pray really hard to him.
He shared that active citizenship is the obligation of every Nigerian and what is most depressing about the state of the country is seeing religious leaders and Nigerians justify the reason for voting for such leaders. Bisi explained that there are people in Nigeria who can fix the country and make it work but Nigerians will never vote for them so such people don’t bother to run for office.
He said the people are brainwashed so if you are not APC and PDP you have no hope in politics noting that he woke up hurt and pained for his country because the citizens deserve better seeing how passionate and hardworking they are as a people.
