If I Was Pantami, I’d Have Resigned – Nyesom Wike

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers States has again faulted the continued stay of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami, as a member of the Federal Executive Council and in office, saying if he were in his shoes, he’d have resigned.
Recall that in a recent interview, Wike had advised Pantami to resign from office, irrespective of his recent volte-face on his previous support for extremist groups.If I Was Pantami, I'd Have Resigned - Nyesom WikeSpeaking again on Wednesday via his Twitter handle while reacting to the comments said to have been made by the Minister in the past in support of extremist groups, Wike insisted it was wrong that he is continuing with his duties as a minister.

According to him, the allegation that the United States of America has placed a serving minister on its watch list as regards to terrorism should shake any government in an ideal society, into action. He added that the minister ought to have relinquished his duties but the situation has worsened because the government does not care.
