Yobe State governor, Ibrahim Gaidam, has been declared the winner of Yobe East Senatorial ticket under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the 2019 general elections. The Chairman of Yobe APC senatorial Electoral Committee, Dauda Danladi, said while announcing the results that Gaidam was unopposed.
“Therefore, Gaidam has emerged the winner of the Yobe East senatorial zone. In his acceptance speech, Gaidam reassured the people of good representation and his determination to serve them more as a senator. I shall bring more democracy dividends to my people as a senator.” he said.
