IBEDC Unveils Fresh Meter Stock, Cautions Against Unauthorised Payments

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has unveiled a new stock of meters available to customers through the Meter Asset Provider Scheme.

This development, announced via a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, aims to enhance service delivery and address concerns over estimated billing.

Acting Managing Director of IBEDC, Francis Agoha, encouraged customers to register for meters through the official platform at msms.ibedc.com.

“This platform has been designed under the Meter Asset Provider (MAP) Scheme to ensure a seamless and secure metering experience for all our customers,” the statement said.

In light of recent reports of unauthorised individuals collecting cash for meters and services, the company has issued a strong warning against such practices.
