I Wrote And Sang ‘Machala’ From Start To Finish – Singer, Berri Tiga Calls Out Carter Efe

Up-and-coming music act, Berri Tiga has called out content creator cum skit-maker, Carter Efe for allegedly taking credit for the hit song, Machala.

He went on Instagram live to claim that he deserves the accolades and credit that the comic act is enjoying for the song.

Carter released Machala featuring Tiga, on the 29th of July, and it debuted at the 14th position of 50 on the afrobeat charts, alongside songs by top stars like Burna Boy, Davido, Rema and his idol Wizkid.

In the IG session, Berri Tiga said that he wrote the song from beginning to end and even sang every single verse and chorus. He made the revelation when some fans asked him if he is the person that produced the massive song.

 

According to him, he is 100% responsible for writing Machala lyrics and singing the entire song. Tiga went further to say that he doesn’t know why the song was taken down from all streaming platforms.

However, the song has been noticeably absent on every major music streaming platform in the country, including Apple Music and Spotify.

Machala blew every other song away on the chart, less than 24 hours after its release and was topping every music chart, including Apple Music and Spotify.
