50 Cent has claimed he was offered $1million to endorse Donald Trump in the recent US election.
While Trump is currently the US president, he is set to be replaced in the White House by Joe Biden, after losing out to the Democratic presidential candidate in the 2020 election.

Biden racked up 273 electoral college votes – surpassing the 270 votes he needed to win the presidency and beat Trump. It’s been declared that Biden will now be the new US president, despite Trump contesting the result and refusing to concede.
Addressing the election, 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – claimed that he was offered a huge sum of $1million (£774,000) to publicly endorse Trump and his campaign.
The rapper, 45, said: ‘They offered me $1 million to go to Trump’s inauguration. [They initially offered] $500,000 and it went up to $1 million while I was still confused with whether I should do it.’
50 admitted he had considered the offer, but eventually decided against it, as he was concerned he was being used by Trump.
‘[Trump] participated with different artists and sh*t like that for the Black vote,’ the star said. ‘And I’m going, “Nah, I ain’t gone put myself in that position,” [because] I didn’t know what I got to do to recover from it, right? To be honest with you.’
His comments came after 50 was called out by his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler for encouraging fans to vote for Trump on social media.
After hearing Biden’s rumoured financial plans, which would reportedly see a 62% tax on wages above $400,000 (£305,000), 50 threw his support behind Trump, telling fans on Instagram: ‘WHAT THE F**K! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT. F**K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people. 62 per cent, are you out of ya f***ing mind.’
Chelsea, who has made it no secret she is a critic of Trump and dated 50 briefly in 2010, responded: ‘You used to be my favourite ex-boyfriend.’
When 50 said he didn’t want Trump or Biden to come between the pair, Chelsea offered to pay for the Power star’s taxes in order for him to ‘come to his senses’.
She wrote: ‘Hey f***er! I will pay your taxes in exchange for you coming to your senses. Happily! Black lives matter. That’s you, f***er! Remember?’
50 then cleared up where he stands when it comes to Trump and insisted on Twitter that he’s ‘never liked’ him.Photo Credit: Getty
