 Singer Seyi Shay, who recently starred in the movie Lara and the Beat, has opened up on how she got into character for the movie. Speaking on Nigeria Info’s The Movie Road Show, the vocal powerhouse said that even though acting has always been on her bucket list, she never expected it’d be that different from music.
On how she got into character for her emotional scenes, Seyi said; “Thanks to the director, Tosin Coker, who helped me regress to a very low point in my life – when I lost my mother.” On working with co-star Vector, in the movie, she said; ‘It’s always a pleasure working with Vector. He is my friend.”
